What Are Invisalign's Benefits?

Keep Up Appearances with Invisalign

You won't feel self-conscious about your appearance because Invisalign aligners are nearly invisible. Invisalign makes it possible to look your best whether you're at work, school, or at a special gathering of friends and family. If you're a professional required to speak in public or address large gatherings, you can be confident that you will always look your best.

Enjoy Convenient Treatment

The beauty of Invisalign is that it doesn't interfere with your lifestyle. You can remove Invisalign for short periods to enjoy a delicious meal with friends or attend a special event. Just be sure to wear the aligners for the prescribed 22 hours a day.

Brush and Floss as Usual

With Invisalign, there's no need to alter your oral hygiene routine; simply remove your aligners to brush twice a day and floss once as you usually do.

When you take Invisalign out to enjoy your meals, be sure to brush your teeth or at least rinse your mouth before putting them back in.

Maintain an Active Lifestyle

With no metal brackets or wires to worry about, you can maintain your active lifestyle without fear of injuring your mouth. If you play contacts sports, you can remove your aligners to wear a protective sports mouthguard.

Invisalign Treatment from Start to Finish

Step One: Invisalign Consultation at Serenity Smiles

The first step is a consultation with Dr. Goff for a comprehensive review of your oral health to determine if you're a good Invisalign candidate.

During this appointment, discusses your expectations explains how treatment works, and informs you about the cost of Invisalign.

Step Two: Planning Invisalign Treatment

Our dentist takes 3-D digital impressions, x-rays, and images of your mouth to see how much your teeth need to move to achieve the ideal results. Treatment times vary from patient to patient and depend on the extent of tooth misalignment we need to correct.

Step Three: Wearing Your Clear Braces

You should wear your aligners for 22 hours daily and remove them only for meals and oral hygiene. Every two to three weeks, you will switch from the current aligners to a new set until you have worn all the aligners and treatment's finished.

We'll schedule appointments for you with Dr. Goff every 4–6 weeks to check on your progress and pick up your next sets of aligners.  These checkups are also quite motivating because you can see how fast you're making progress!

Step Five: Congratulations—Your Smile Looks Great!

Now you can enjoy the rewards of treatment and show off your dream smile! Your Scottsdale dentist will fit you for a retainer to maintain results, and you should continue to get regular dental checkups.
