Your story matters to us. My goal for this practice is to create a family-centered atmosphere where I can truly sit down and get to know every single patient. Dental treatment is personalized, whether you come in for cosmetic work, you have a toothache, or you just arrive for your regular six-month cleanings. We are here to make your experience as easy as possible, and I treat each patient as if they were my own family.
Dr. Waters is the owner of both Serenity Smiles and Hayden Family Dentistry. He received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Chemistry at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. He then went on to Midwestern University in Glendale to earn his Doctorate of Medicinal Dentistry. The highlight of his profession is serving the community and providing the highest level of care. He has a particular passion for snap-in dentures on implants and fixed dentures on implants, and has earned a master's certification in this area. He also loves to keep up to date with cosmetic dentistry practices and frequently takes continuing education courses. His favorite procedure to do is a smile makeover, specifically veneers. He believes it is truly amazing what a new smile can do for a patient’s overall confidence and well-being.
Outside of work, he loves to spend his time reading, working on cars, and trying new restaurants with his family. Dr. Waters and his wife, Katie, married in Maui in 2021. They have a son, Charlie, who was born in February of 2024 and is Dr. Waters’ pride and joy. They also have a Goldendoodle, Molly, whom he'll occasionally bring along to the office. Together, they love to travel and spend time together as a family.
Dr. Jeff Barna
Dr. Jeff Barna is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist committed to providing exceptional care and creating positive, long-lasting relationships with his patients. With over 35 years of experience in the dental field, Dr. Barna is dedicated to offering advanced dental treatments and preventive care tailored to each patient's individual needs.
A graduate of Tufts University and New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Barna has extensive training in cosmetic dentistry and routine family care, and stays at the forefront of dental technology and techniques to ensure his patients receive the most effective and comfortable care possible.
Dr. Barna takes pride in making dentistry a pleasant, stress-free experience for his patients, offering a welcoming and relaxed environment. Whether providing restorative treatments or more complex procedures, he is known for his gentle approach and attention to detail.
Dr. Barna has owned Hayden Family Dentistry since 1996, which merged with the practice of Dr. Justin Waters in 2024, and he is now proud to be staying on at Serenity Smiles to continue the care of his amazing, wonderful patients, whom he has had the pleasure to be of service to over the years.
In his free time, Dr. Barna enjoys mountain biking, hiking, playing music, and joyfully tolerating his Siberian husky, Gracie. Outside of his practice, Dr. Barna is passionate about continuing education, regularly attending dental seminars and workshops to further hone his skills.
